Our innovative Select®2 product line offers the first box-type surge suppressor to be dual listed as both a surge suppressor and a secondary surge arrester. Current Technology combines selenium with metal oxide varistors (MOVs), polypropylene capacitors and precise component geometry to deliver the industry’s best suppression, highest tested single pulse surge current capacity ratings and – most importantly – longest product life.

Each series have been single-pulse surge current tested at a nationally recognized third party indepedent laboratory.

Different from other transient disturbance products, Current Technology’s hardworking TransGuard® suppression filter systems feature a powerful Failure-Free ISB® (Integrated Suppression Bus) suppression filter assembly, individually fused MOVs, improved current sharing, multiple options and much more – precisely the protection today’s facilities need from costly downtime and equipment damage resulting from routine or catastrophic electrical disturbances.

Current Technology offers more electronic panelboard alternatives than any other manufacturer. Logical EGPE Panelboard Extensions permit the quick and easy addition of Current Technology’s UL 1449 Listed suppression and UL 1283 Listed filtering to electric panelboards at the jobsite. Mounted at the top, bottom or adjacent to virtually any panelboard, EGPE Panelboard Extensions feature indicating lights and may be specified with StatusWatch diagnostic monitoring.

TransEnd delivers worry-free performance in a reliable, innovative design. The tested single-pulse surge current capacity (per mode) is tested per NEMA recommendations. Sand-packed MOV arrays equally share current to suppress transients before they reach sensitive loads while capacitors filter out high-frequency noise and low-level transients. TransEnd is designed and tested to withstand surge currents in accordance with ANSI/IEEE recommendations.
